Where there is no vision, the people perish…
Proverbs 29:18
Often we find ourselves faced with dealing with the same problem over and over. The cause of this is that we often do not spend the time in getting to the root of the problem. The feeling of frustration in the same situations often is a sign that we need to make a change in how we are doing things.
Empowerment gets many of its principles from the field of Human Potential. In its most simplistic form this means for us to be in touch with our inner self as our inner being moves towards becoming the best version of ourselves.
Probing and Getting to the root of a problem is essential to getting ready for transformation. Getting to the beginning of a problem, where it started, helps to identify one’s belief and why you believe what you believe. As children, the beliefs of our parents and community were important to get us started in life. Once you find that your old ways are no longer working, you must ask yourself:
- Where did I get this belief from?
- Do I believe this any more?
- What Do I believe now?
- What behavior and beliefs do I need to change?
- Create Affirmations and Visions to affirm this new chapter
Once you are aware of where you want to go; and have documentation of your affirmation and vision, you want to develop personal power. Your personal power is “the ability to find your own individual truth and then create your life around this truth.”
Your personal power is what makes the differences between going through all of the sessions and not make changes and a new awareness of your new found confidence and personal power to get you to where you are want to be..
You will be helped in Creating your own sources necessary to sustain your growth. Many have found the following areas essential to sustaining ongoing growth.
- Commitment
- Discipline
- Support system
- Inner guidance
- Lightness
- Love
- Finding your own truth
